Slotted Bucket D1 Retention System for Plastic Granules – 70 µm Complete Set

Compact protection for shallow industrial drains in accordance with EU Regulation 2025/2365

Where installation space and depth are limited, precision is key. Our Slotted Bucket Set D1 with 70 µm filter fineness was specially developed for shallow compact gully pots (Form D according to DIN 4052). It offers industrial companies a technically sophisticated solution to legally implement EU Regulation 2025/2365, even when conventional retention systems are too deep or too wide. This specialized plastic granule retention system protects your site against microplastic emissions.

Model D1 is the answer to the challenges in production-related outdoor areas or specialized logistics zones. As an integral part of your Operation Clean Sweep strategy, this fine filter reliably prevents plastic pellets or abrasion from entering the environment via surface drainage.

Areas of Application: Compact & Shallow

The D1 model (Ø 300 mm, shallow depth) is the first choice for specialized drainage points, especially in industries such as transport & logistics and civil engineering & landscaping:

  • Shallow drainage channels in loading halls.
  • Compact gully pots on paved industrial areas in the chemicals & raw materials sector.
  • Point drainage with shallow shaft depth for facilities in energy & environment.
  • Retrofitting of existing systems with limited installation height.

Zero emissions through mechanical positive guidance

Even in the shallow design, we do not compromise on retention security. The Winkler system eliminates the risk of "bypasses":

  1. Custom-fit filter collar: The 70 µm fabric has an integrated collar that fits flush over the edge of the D1 bucket.
  2. Industrial fixation: A reinforced drawstring presses the filter tightly against the bucket body. Uncontrolled leakage of granules is thus mechanically prevented.
  3. Secure retention: Since we dispense with an emergency overflow, all incoming water is forced through the high-performance fabric – for maximum environmental protection even during heavy rainfall.

FAQ – Slotted Bucket D1 Granulate Retention System 70 µm

Important details regarding the securing of shallow compact gullies (Type D) according to DIN 4052.

What is the difference between the slotted bucket C3 and D1?

Both models have a nominal diameter of approx. 300 mm for compact gully pots. The difference lies in the overall height: The D1 is the shallow version (Form D according to DIN 4052) for shafts with low installation depth, while the C3 is designed for deeper compact gully pots.

Is the filtering capacity of the flat D1 bucket sufficient for heavy rainfall?

Yes. Despite its flat design, the 70 µm fabric offers a high flow rate. As we do not use a bypass, the system prioritizes environmental protection. The filter surface is designed to efficiently drain the water while retaining 100% of the granulate.

Can the D1 filter get clogged?

Like any filter system, the D1 also requires regular maintenance. Due to the fine 70 µm mesh size, organic matter such as leaves or sludge is also filtered out. Regular inspection of the flat slotted buckets is therefore recommended to maintain full drainage performance.

How robust is the drawstring system on the flat version?

We use the same high-performance industrial drawstring for all models, including the flat D1. It is UV-stable, chemical-resistant, and ensures that the filter collar remains firmly fixed to the rim of the bucket even under high water pressure.

Is the system suitable for audits according to EU Regulation 2025/2365?

Absolutely. Installing technical barriers with a defined filter fineness of 70 µm is a recognized measure to prevent pellet loss. The D1 set provides you with the necessary proof for seamless site security.
